Last time I searched the List of Craig, there were hardly any MR2s to be found. Thats turbo or NA variant. I really wanted to buy a non-turbo MR2 but at the time they were impossible to find in stock condition. Everyone who had the non-turbo cars treated them like shit. So now I have a Miata.

They used that nose design a lot, I think it’s part of their “Combat” style bodykit.

Personally, I love their “Evolution III” wide-body kit for the R32.

Especially the rear bumper with the center cut out, it’d be great for a DIY rear diffuser.

*Almost* everyone who had the non-turbo...

I searched for more than 6 months before finding an stock one, but they’re out there. Keep an eye on craigslist, we need more of these on Oppo :D

My next car has to have more space than my NA. I’m keeping the NA but I can’t have 2 cars that need extended maintenance that I’d also want to modify. That’s not a stock color right?

The great thing about the SW20/21 MR2s is that they have both a frunk and an even bigger trunk in the back as well. It’s a miracle of packaging that the engine bay can fit a V6 comfortably as well. No cutting or modification of any firewalls necessary.

Color is not stock, I got it painted in the brightest blue available. Was originally “Nautical Blue,” which is like a lighter navy blue. That paint was very original when I got the car (read: fading and chipping) so I decided I might as well make it a little more unique :D

The mid-engine life is worth saving up for :) I looked at MR2s on craigslist for motivation in all those months before I got one.
